Launceston Owls: L- I -N-O Let's Go!

This month we are taking on the art of the lino cut.
If you would like to take the lino challenge  please bring lino, cutters, rollers and paper or fabric to print on and we'll all throw in $2 for ink.

BYO project instead if you'd rather.

Leave a comment to RSVP and let us know if you will be joining us in the lino-cut adventure.

Monday August 24th at 7.30pm at Seworld, 88 Elizabeth Street.
Bring along your own cup and a tasty treat if you can.

See you there!

  2. yeah ladies I'll be there with lino tools! For all you out there wondering where to get them, our local art shop Philcam in Invermay Road has all you need including lino squares, cutting tool sets and rollers. If you are new to lino cutting, consider trying the grey 'Silkcut' lino.. its a bit softer than the orange stuff and therefore easier to carve.

  3. I should be able to make it but I probably won't take part in the lino. As much as I'd love to I just don't think I could manage another type of craft right now!! :)

  4. I'll be there as a newbie! Like Fer, I don't want to get hooked onto yet another craft, so will bring my own thing.

  6. Hello all. Sorry I can't make that night and am sad about it. Think it is great to have a craft people can try if they want to. I will just have to catch up on another time. Cheers joan
