Upcycle your magazines and newspapers and weave them into coasters, placemats and baskets. Start by weaving a basic square coaster then work your way up to a basket!

What to bring:
1. Magazines and/or newspaper. I would recommend trying both to see which one you can work with best, the weaving gets a bit tricky and both have their strengths. You can also try upcycling other papers too depending on what you have at home.
2. Scissors

What a great idea to keep all that recycled paper out of storage. Lord knows there's tonnes of the stuff and newspapers all over my house in Brisbane!
