The first Brisbane meeting is scheduled for Sunday 22 February from 10:30am-12:30pm at the Recreation Room in Building 7 of Roma Street Parklands Apartments, Parkland Blvd, Brisbane.
The Rec Room is on the ground floor of building 7. Building 7 is the end apartment block furthest away from the City. There is plenty of parking at the Parklands or if coming by public transport catch the train/bus to Roma Street and take the Parklands exit at the back of the station.
Bring your own craft! (We will also be offering some fun small projects and kits a little closer to the date for those who are beginner crafters or looking for something different to do on the day.)
Morning tea will be provided.

Hi ... is this an open invitation? Because I would love to attend the first Brown Owls of Brisbane meet ... I have watching and reading the Brown Owls for a while now and yay ya yay a Brisbane Branch to sit on!

Hi Ladies
To attend this Brown Owls meet you must have membership.
All attendees will be required to bring with them their membership tags. Membership is only $10 which is awesomely affordable and allows us to supply tea coffee etc. I think memberships may be closed for the moment (please clarify Pip) but this is because we are unable to find a free hall or similar place that will accomodate more than 20 people.Hopefully we will be able to find a larger place to hold meetings in the near future but It would be unfair to ask already paying members to miss out due to overcrowding.
We would love any suggestions any of you might have to remedy this for the next meeting.
(please note it has to be undercover to allow for bad weather and have access to toilets etc)

Brown Owls meets are open to members only, as you all know. Membership tags will be posted out this month - as we are still finalising our list of members.
If you bought a membership and got your paypal receipt back at ya, then you are a member. The final members list will be posted on this very blog in the coming days (some people had VERY tricky transactions!) If you are on the waiting list to become a Brown Owl - you will have to wait until memberships are available again.
Brisbane memberships are currently on hold.
Pleae note that prefects will have the Brisbane member list at this event, so don't worry about gaining admittance lovely Brown Owls - they will know exactly who to expect.
Anyone who commented here, but has not joined, please email me and I'll put you on the waiting list!!!
