Brisbane Brown Owls are turnin' Japanese...

(Ningyogami by Bel and Julia)

Well...not really but we had loads of fun learning how to make Japanese Paper Dolls called Ningyogami which, once you get the knack of are surprisingly easy and quite addictive.

A big thankyou goes out to our resident expert on all things Japanese, Melanie for teaching us and for sharing all of her amazing Japanese paper with us, not to mention her vast knowledge of Japanese fertility festivals.....must get some of that candy for our next meet!!

(Craft, snacks and lots of laughter at Brisbane Brown Owls)

See you all next time.

didn't know where else to put this so I'll do it here.
There is an interest in starting up a Brown Owls group in The Blue Mountains as Sydney is a long long way for us mountain gals to travel...can this be done?If so how?
