Hi there, I work at the Powerhouse Museum and my name is Deborah Vaughan. On the 30th April and 1st May we are organising a craft event called 'Craft Punk: In the Loop'. This is the launch of a series of quarterly craft weekends which will be held throughout 2011. Our first in the series will focus on textiles: crochet, threading, knitting, embroidery, sewing, beading, lace making but with a DIY punk and twisted flavor: heavily influenced by the blogosphere and mixed with skill from crafters, guilds and masters crafters.
