OH NO! Brunswick Brown Owls Stitchy Session POSTPONED

HELLO DEARS!

SAD NEWS!
BRUNSWICK BROWN OWL STITCHY SESSION POSTPONED

Sadly the delightful Sue Halliday is unwell and she won't be able to come over to the Victoria Hotel tomorrow, Wednesday 20th May to do our little stitching session.
We will have a regular UFO session in the dining room where the floor is a bit wobbly, but our stitches are not! Please let anyone else know, who you knew was planning on coming.

Hopefully we'll go ahead with the planned session on Wednesday 3rd June.
Pop it into your diary! Get well soon Sue. Take it easy!

Southside Owls ~ Thursday 14th May (tonight) @ Frankie & Swiss

Hello ladeez

Tonight we have a special task to work on if you would like to join in. The lovely Kate, one of our original regulars at Owls, has asked if we could help out making a quilt for her adorable twins Arlo and Macy! It's going to be a super special quilt made with a whole lot of love from a bunch of awesome crafty ladies.

And of course, if quilting is not your thing, a BYO craft project is always welcome at Southside Owls! And if you don't have a project on the go, just come along anyway. There will be chatting, laughs, cups of tea and homemade baked treats.

Date: Thursday 14th May (tonight!)

Time: 7:30pm onwards

Venue: Frankie and Swiss, Ground Floor, 199 Toorak Road, South Yarra.
It’s the building on the corner of Toorak and Claremont Street. Right on the #8 tram or a 2 second walk from South Yarra station.
There is also parking available underneath the building. You’ll need to call Shannon on 0411 012 297 to buzz you under:)

Craft: BYO or help with the quilt for Arlo and Macy!

I will have an iron, ironing board, rotary cutter, and quilt ruler.
And print outs of the instructions for the quilt from Andi.
Feel free to bring along a cutting board and/or sewing machines to help out!

Goodies:
We will have tea and sweet treats. Please feel free to bring something along if you would like to show off your baking skills!

See you all tonight ladeez!!

Come and stitch with Sue and the Brunswick Brown Owls

Sweet Stitchy Sayings with SUE

Come along on Wednesday 20th May at 7pm and get stitchy at the Victoria Hotel on Victoria Street in Brunswick with the Brunswick Brown Owls!

Join me, Sue Halliday, to learn a simple embroidery project, stitching cute and meaningful phrases, which touches upon content from my 'Crafty Stress Management' course.

Brown Owls starts at 7pm and I'll start the workshop at 7.15pm, so if you could be there on time that would be ace!

I've a limited number of embroidery hoops available for a gold coin donation, let me know in the comments below if you need one, otherwise I'll assume you'll bring your own (I'd recommend 4, 5 or 6inches in diameter).

Please RSVP in the comments below.

All other materials and handouts will be supplied.
Look forward to seeing you.

Yippee!

Changes afoot in KYNETON BROWN OWLS

Well my dears, we have changes afoot!

Due to a number of reasons our Kyneton Brown Owls evening
is changing it’s day from Thursday to WEDNESDAY.

From the 13th May, we’ll be hanging out in the gallery space at the Royal George Hotel on Piper Street from 7pm.

We will still be meeting fortnightly and the rest of the years dates are below if you wish to pop them into the diary.

There won’t be any more Locals Night dinner deals as on a Thursday, but there will still be deelish food and a range of beverages to choose from.
We will no longer meet on a Thursday.

It’s been pretty marvellous meeting up with you all, and it will be terribly sad to see the talented Jess move to warmer climes. She’s been a strong support of our crafty evening and it will be sad to see her and her kin head north. We hope it’s sunny when they get there!

I’ll be bringing some tissue paper along and making some paper pom-poms if you’re interested this Wednesday, our next meet being the 13th May.

Did that message get through? I know I’m being repetitive! But if you do turn up on Thursday, Lucinda and Chris our hosts at the George will be very welcoming anyway!

Big chunky knits to you,
Stacy
