Isn't this the perfect weather to rev up the craft goodies? Wind and rain outside, warmth and craft inside.
This Saturday we are offering a Afghan crochet square workshop, or bring along your own craft.
 
Of course we will also have learn to knit and crochet support.

Brisbane: Recycled Paper Weaving

Upcycle your magazines and newspapers and weave them into coasters, placemats and baskets. Start by weaving a basic square coaster then work your way up to a basket!

When: Saturday 27 July, 10:30am-12:30pm

Where: Indooroopilly Library, Indooroopilly Shopping Centre, Level 4, 322 Moggill Road, Indooroopilly

What to bring:
1. Magazines and/or newspaper. I would recommend trying both to see which one you can work with best, the weaving gets a bit tricky and both have their strengths. You can also try upcycling other papers too depending on what you have at home.
2. Scissors
3. Ruler
