Brisbane: Star Weaving with Maryann Talia Pau

Photo: Nik Harrison

This meet up is a very special opportunity to learn the art of star weaving with Samoan-Australian artist and weaver Maryann Talia Pau.

1 Million Stars to End Violence is an international weaving project that aims to end violence by bringing people together to weave stars. These woven stars are a symbol of light and courage to end all forms of violence, including violence against women. People are invited to show their support of ending violence in the community through weaving stars to be used as part of this year’s installation at The Big Design Market, The Royal Exhibition Building in Melbourne, December 5, 6 & 7.
