Brisbane Owls: RSVP for Crochet Take 2!

Brisbane Owls: It's time to RSVP for our next meet up!

Date: Saturday 16 April 2011

Time: 10:30am - 12:30pm

**DIFFERENT VENUE TO LAST MEET UP**: Meeting Room, Chermside Library, 375 Hamilton Road, Chermside. (Behind Westfield Chermside - for those catching buses just walk a few blocks down Hamilton Road behind Westfield).

Craft-along Project: Crochet

Our super crochet-instructor Sam will be leading the Crochet Project again. For those who came last month bring along your washcloth or whatever you were working on for some more advice or to move on to something more challenging.

If you're new to crochet and couldn't make it last month this is your opportunity to learn the basics by starting on a crochet washcloth. Bring a new size 4.5 or old size 7 crochet hook and some 8ply crochet cotton (Lincraft usually has a good supply of this for cheap) or yarn of choice, just make sure it's washable so you can suds it up and enjoy the end result! We will have a limited supply of crochet hooks and yarn available too.

Please leave a comment to let us know if you will be taking part in the project.

OR BYO craft to work on.

Tea and coffee provided. Feel free to show off your baking skills by bringing a plate for morning tea :)

Please RSVP by leaving a comment on this post by this Thursday 14 April or email brisbanebrownowls@gmail.com. If you need access to a crochet hook on the day please let us know when you rsvp :)

I am coming, and it's my first time. I can't figure out at this time if I'll try to relearn crochet (advanced beginner here) or bring my own. Either way, I'm excited to come. Katy
